Mel McKay Charitable Trust Funds Winnie's Place

Churches United of the Quad City Area gratefully acknowledges and accepts a $2,000 grant award from the Mel McKay Charitable Trust in support of Winnie's Place shelter for homeless women, with or without children, who may have survived domestic violence.  Winnie's Place is the only emergency shelter in the Illinois Quad Cities and the only shelter for women who are homeless for any reason.

Winnie's Place Funded by CD Wiman Memorial Trust

The CD Wiman Memorial Trust Committee has approved $750 to fund the prorams of Winnie's Place, the only emergency shelter in the Illinois Quad Cities for women, with or without children, who are homeless and/or survivors of domestic abuse.  Churches United gratefully acknowledges and accepts this first-time contribution by CD Wiman Memorial Trust to our shelter ministry.
