Day Foundation Funds Hunger & Shelter Ministries

Churches United of the Quad City Area gratefully accepts a $15,000 grant award from the Doris & Victor Day Foundation.

Teens 4 Tomorrow Grant Helps Reopen Food Pantry

The Wells Fargo Foundation has awarded a $2,000.00 grant to Churches United of the Quad City Area, in support of its community service programs in the Quad City Area.  This support helps Churches United provide critical services relating to hunger, emergency shelter, and financial assistance to those in need.

1 Million Pounds of Food Distributed in 2016

Over 1 million pounds of food were distributed in 2016 to more than 170,000 individuals at Churches United of the Quad Cities’ 25 free food pantries and three hot meal sites in Iowa and Illinois.That’s nearly 3 percent of the greater Quad City Area population!
