Churches United of the Quad City Area gratefully acknowledges and accepts a $1,000 grant award from the Rotary Club of Rock Island to help us feed the hungry receiving free food at our five food pantries in the City of Rock Island.

Churches United of the Quad City Area gratefully acknowledges and accepts a $4,000 grant award from the Illinois Conference of the United Church of Christ in support of our hunger ministry.

Ingathering Fund Helps Feed QCA Hungry

The Hubbell-Waterman Foundation Funds Repairs at Winnie's Place

Churches United of the Quad City Area gratefully acknowledges and accepts a $5,000 grant award from the Hubbell-Waterman Foundation in support of Winnie's Place shelter for homeless women, with or without children, who may have survived domestic violence. Winnie's Place is the only emergency shelter in the Illinois Quad Cities and the only shelter for women who are homeless for any reason.

Mel McKay Charitable Trust Funds Winnie's Place

Winnie's Place Funded by CD Wiman Memorial Trust

The CD Wiman Memorial Trust Committee has approved $750 to fund the prorams of Winnie's Place, the only emergency shelter in the Illinois Quad Cities for women, with or without children, who are homeless and/or survivors of domestic abuse.  Churches United gratefully acknowledges and accepts this first-time contribution by CD Wiman Memorial Trust to our shelter ministry.

The Endowment Committee of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline has approved a funding request for $2,000 toward shelter repairs at Winnie's Place, the only emergency shelter in the Illinois Quad Cities for women, with or without children, who are homeless and/or survivors of domestic abuse. RDA & SCRA Support Churches United Hunger Ministry

Churches United of the Quad City Area gratefully acknowledges $10,000 in generous support from the Regional Development Authority and $6,250 from the Scott County Regional Authority.
