In October 2011, Winnie's Wishes Resale Shop and More opened at 902 E. River Drive in Davenport to benefit Winnie's Place . . . a shop with a purpose!   (go to www.winnieswishes.com for more information).

The women of Winnie's Place will be able to shop at Winnie's Wishes free to get the needed clothing for themselves and their children.    After completing the program at Winnie's Place and upon starting their households, the women will be able to come to the resale store and pick out linens, furniture, pictures and more all at no cost to help start up their new homes.    The community can help by stopping by Winnie's Wishes to SHOP, DONATE or VOLUNTEER.

If you've donated directly to Winnie's Place in the past either directly to the shelter or by dropping off at Churches United you can continue to do so in the same way.    Either way, you are benefiting the women and children of Winnie's Place and we THANK YOU!
