Hear our musicians, bands and singers from a variety of different member churches as we celebrate the ministries of our local church membership.
Welcome new board members, installation of new officers as well as wishing those board members a fond farewell as they retire from the board.

The YOM HASHOAH service will be held at Temple Emanuel on Sunday, April 19th, 2015.
This year's speaker is Mr. Irving Roth, Holocaust survivor, writer and internationally - known educator. Irving Roth was a teenager when he was taken by train with his brother and grandparents and 437 other Jews to Auschwitz.
The mission of the YOM HASHOAH Committee seeks to honor the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and those who helped the victims, and to tell the story of the Holocaust in such a way as to encourage resistance to any future holocaust.
Churches United has been one of the long time sponsors of this committee and encourages anyone interested to attend this moving service.
This year's 3rd Annual Mother's Day Concert, presented by
the RiverBend Bronze Handbell Ensemble, will be on Sunday, May 10th
@ 4:00 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 1800 7th Ave., Moline. The concert is free and open to the public with a free-will donation being
accepted at the door.
River Bend Bronze is the Quad Cities' own community based handbell
choir. Members of the group come from
the Quad Cities proper as well as surrounding communities. The group for this
concert numbers 14 auditioned ringers.
Three of the ringers presently direct other handbell choirs in their own
churches. The director of the group,
Larry B. Peterson, is Director of Music for Campus Ministries at Augustana
where he conducts the Ascension Ringers and Steeple Ringers handbell
Some of the pieces on this year's concert will include arrangements of
such recognizable tunes as: Pirates of the Caribbean, Let It Go from the Disney
movie, Frozen and a couple of original arrangements of hits by the legendary
rock group, Queen.
To top off the afternoon, there will be a dessert reception after the
concert. So, after you have treated mom
to that Sunday dinner out, bring her and the rest of the family out for a delightful
afternoon concert and desserts.
