The Quad City CROP Walk is a 6-mile, bi-state event held the first Sunday in October that engages scores of churches and other faith groups enlisting pledged sponsors.
A portion of the dollars raised stays in the Quad Cities to benefit local hunger ministries, including Churches United of the Quad City Area, Meal Service of Scott County, EFNEP, River Bend Food Bank Backpack Program, Christian Care of Rock Island and the Humility of Mary. Contributions to CROP Hunger Walk also help Church World Service combat hunger, poverty,
and disaster relief around the world.
