The Quad City CROP Walk is a 6-mile, bi-state event held the first Sunday in October that engages scores of churches and other faith groups enlisting pledged sponsors.
Working and walking together, we raised $38,520 for the hungry on October 1, 2017!
THANK YOU Corporate Sponsors - The Hungry Hobo, Antonella’s Restaurant, SIS International Fari Trade Shop, Dominga’s Mexican Restaurant, Iowa American Water, Quad Cities River Bandits, Minuteman Press-Dav, Freighthouse Farmers Market, Comedy Sportz-QC, Country Style Ice Cream, Olive Tree Cafes, Chick-fil-A, California Pho Restaurant, Ross’ 24 Hours Diner, and the River Cities’ Reader - for contributing to the success of the 2017 CROP Hunger Walk!
A portion of the dollars raised stays in the Quad Cities to benefit local hunger ministries, including Churches United of the Quad City Area, Meal Service of Scott County, EFNEP, River Bend Food Bank Backpack Program, Christian Care of Rock Island and the Humility of Mary. Contributions to CROP Hunger Walk also help Church World Service combat hunger, poverty, and disaster relief around the world.
Churches United coordinates, plans and hosts the Quad Cities CROP Hunger Walk for Church World Service.
