Churches United of the Quad City Area - a Christ-Centered Ministry - is a cooperative association of 140 churches representing more than 20 Christian Faith traditions in the greater Quad Cities area.
The ministries of Churches United include: 25 food pantries, 3 hot meal sites, Winnie's Place, a shelter for women, with or without children who are homeless and/or survivors of domestic violence, and Winnie's Wishes, a resale shop, with proceeds that directly benefit Winnie's Place.
The mission of Churches United of the Quad City Area is to Serve This Community, Revitalize the Church, and Celebrate Christian Unity. We fulfill this mission in several ways, including: direct service ministries, cooperative ministries, witness ministries, advocacy ministries, growth ministries and celebration ministries.

Delegates from our Member Churches, community partner representatives, and the public are invited to join us at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1809 Mississippi Boulevard in Bettendorf for our 2019 Annual Delegate Assembly. Program and worship begins at 7 p.m. Churches United is pleased to welcome and present the work, words and compassionate wisdom of special guest speaker Dr. Jonas Ohrberg, founder of The Human Promise: One Heart One Humanity (USA) and The Human Promise Kenya: One Heart One Humanity. With a deep passion for a belief in positive change, Dr. Ohrberg, professor with Forbes School of Business and Technology at Ashford University, founded The Human Promise to share a message of unity, understanding and acceptance between diverse communities and peoples.
