United in Faith Helping People in Need
Churches United of the Quad City Area - a Christ-Centered Ministry - is a cooperative association of 140 churches representing more than 20 Christian Faith traditions in the greater Quad Cities area.
The ministries of Churches United include: 25 food pantries, 3 hot meal sites, Winnie's Place, a shelter for women, with or without children who are homeless and/or survivors of domestic violence, and Winnie's Wishes, a resale shop, with proceeds that directly benefit Winnie's Place.
The mission of Churches United of the Quad City Area is to Serve This Community, Revitalize the Church, and Celebrate Christian Unity. We fulfill this mission in several ways, including: direct service ministries, cooperative ministries, witness ministries, advocacy ministries, growth ministries and celebration ministries.
