Betsy Vanausdeln, Associate Director
Betsy Vanausdeln started working as the Direct Service Coordinator for Churches United in 2015, was named full-time Outreach Manager in April 2017, and currently serves as Associate Director. She oversees day-to-day operations, including 24 food pantries and 3 hot meal sites in both Iowa and Illinois. Her favorite part about her position is meeting the hard working people who keep the pantries open. She says it's also a blessing to meet the various groups who serve a hot meal at the meal sites, and to work alongside many churches, the public, and our great Churches United staff. Betsy says she enjoys networking and building relationships, and helping people find the assistance they need for their families. She appreciates all who give so others can thrive. She wants to personally thank everyone for all they do for Churches United of the Quad City Area!
